Windrow

A way to prepare the soil for cultivation or to organize vegetation or wood for storage or burning.

Windrows are an agricultural practice where the planting of seeds or seedlings takes place between furrows or open ditches in the ground for water drainage. The term is also used for piles of varying heights and lengths intended for storing or burning wood or vegetation waste. It can also refer to extensions of lots or rural land.
