Sinaflor

Sinaflor is a system implemented by Ibama that controls the origin and circulation of forest products such as wood and charcoal in the country.

The National Forest Product Origin Control System (Sinaflor) was established in 2014 to register and control the origin and circulation of wood, charcoal, and other forest products. The initiative is national in scope and should be implemented in all states of the country to control forestry activities, forestry-based projects, and other processes associated with forest products. Forest concession management plans are also included in the database. Roraima was the first state to adopt the system, which can be accessed by entrepreneurs and by technical managers, who can enter data into the system according to their attributions. Today, all states supply Sinaflor with data on the economy of the forest sector.
