Restoration of native vegetation

Restoration happens through the planting of species for the recovery of native vegetation in a given space where the flora has been suppressed or degraded.

Restoration of native vegetation occurs when species are planted according to the native vegetation of an area where the flora has been eliminated or degraded. Vegetation recovery tends to rescue ecosystem services, such as water production, climate regulation, and protection of biodiversity. According to federal forestry legislation, the restoration of Legal Reserves can be done by interspersing native and exotic species in a similar proportion.
