Deforestation with vegetation
Deforested areas with partial presence of native vegetation.Occurs in regions with evidence of deforestation, but which maintain signs of vegetation cover. It can be the result of severe degradation or early regeneration. These remnants of native vegetation are detected in periods when there is a time difference between the detection of some vegetation and when clearcutting was first detected. The phenomenon is usually caused by cloud cover between each episode.
Synonyms:
deforestation, suppression or conversion of native vegetation (more suitable terms for natural fields and other non-forest formations).
