Date of occurrence
This is the moment when an instance of native vegetation suppression really took place.According to the logic of monitoring systems, the date of occurrence precedes the date of detection of deforestation. For example, a loss of native vegetation that was detected in a certain biome and in a specific month by satellite monitoring systems may have occurred days or months before detection; it may have happened illegally or with authorization from a public agency.
