Deskripsi Pekerjaan
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and high-availability (HA) database systems.
- Manage and optimize relational databases (RDBMS) such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DB2.
- Administer and optimize in-memory databases, especially Redis.
- Perform database performance tuning, including query analysis, indexing strategies, and partitioning implementation.
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure system reliability and performance.
- Support backup, recovery, security, and disaster recovery planning for databases.
- Work with cloud-based database services (AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure Database) for deployment and administration.
- Utilize database tools such as SSMS, HeidiSQL, SQL Developer, SQLyog, and Redis Insight for daily operations.
- Collaborate closely with developers and system engineers to ensure efficient database integration and application performance.
- Document database structures, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Continuously learn and adopt emerging database technologies and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Database Engineer or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DB2).
- Strong knowledge of in-memory databases such as Redis.
- Proficient in SQL and capable of writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Good understanding of database design, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
- Familiar with Linux and Windows operating systems.
